So here is how I see it. GoPro is selling all of their cameras direct on their website for $50 less than the best deals everywhere else but they make you sign up for the subscription $49/year. All of this is to say you are ok with subscribing if not turn back now.

They offer 5 cameras that can individually be added to your cart each coming with a "free year of service" if purchased separately.
